CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT Before convergence adjustment*1, please choose a stabilized input signal*2 in order to display a stable cross pattern. Color deviation adjustment *2 Stabilized input signal .......... Examples, DVD player, digital tuner, etc. Due to the differing magnetic fields in different locations, you may experience color deviation, that is inaccurate colors. This is called misconvergence. If your colors seem inaccurate, realign the color convergence with the method below. Before doing this mate sure you warm up the TV for at least 30 minutes. A color convergence for each of 5 screen sizes, Natural wide, Cinema wide, Zoom, Full and 4:3 normal and Full for HD is necessary. See page 39 for screen sizes. 1 PressMENUandselect SETUP byusing the 5 or ∞ button and then pressing SET/ ENTER. When the cross pattern is white If the cross pattern shows other colors or when one side of the white line is red or blue ADJ CONVERGENCE ADJ CONVERGENCE USE: EXIT: MENU USE: EXIT: MENU The color is converged. Press SET button twice, proceed onto page 63 and perform MULTI-POINT convergence. This indicates that the color is misconverged. Proceed to step 4 and perform the adjustment. 28
