TO SELECT THE DESIRED SURROUND MODE This function creates the sound with a sense of presence. In a concert hall or in a theater, you hear a mixture of sound coming directly to you (direct sound) and sound that reaches you with a slight delay after being reflected from the walls (indirect sound). Surround mode applies this principal to create a sense of presence by mixing slightly delayed sound signals with direct sound signals. 1 Press MENU and select SOUND .
