Setting Up Your Machine Choosing a Location For the trouble-free operation of your machine, place it on a flat, stable surface near your workstation. Leave enough space to allow for easy paper loading and exiting, as well as opening the front cover. Do not place your machine: • In direct sunlight. • Near heat sources or air conditioners. • In a dusty or dirty environment. Preparing Your Machine for Use When you take this machine out the box, note that it has been packaged to protect it during shipping.
