Attaching the Supports Document Input Support Insert the document input support with the groove pointing to the rear top of the machine. Extender Fold out the extender if necessary. Document Output Support Insert the two tabs on the document output support into the slots on the front of your machine. Extender Fold out the extender if necessary. Insert one end first, then the other end by squeezing this leg inward to make the tray easy to insert. Note: This machine is shipped with the paper output tray already installed.
