2. Getting Started Guide to Components (mainly North America) • Do not obstruct the ventilation holes by placing objects near them or leaning things against them. If you load a stack of originals in the ADF, the ADF will automatically feed the originals one by one. The ADF scans both sides of an original one side at a time. 2. Exposure glass Place originals face down here. 3. Ventilation holes Prevent overheating. 4. Main power switch To operate the machine, the main power switch must be on. If it is off, open the cover and turn the switch on. 30
