03 Setup System Initial Settings Function By using the Initial Settings function, you can set the language, and TV Aspect Ratio. For more information about the Initial Settings function, refer to the Initial Settings Screen section of this user manual. (page 18) ✎ NOTE If an HDMI cable is connected to the product, the TV aspect option does not appear and it is set to 16:9 Wide automatically. DivX(R) Registration View DivX(R) VOD Registration Code to purchase and play DivX(R) VOD content. ✎ NOTE This option is not activated if you select OK.To activate this option, please activate the DivX(R) Deactivation. Even after you reset the system, the settings of DivX Registration will not be reset. DivX(R) Deactivation Select this to get a new registration code. Language You can select the language you prefer for on-screen menu, disc menu, etc. Settings Display Audio System Language Security Support OSD Language Disc Menu Audio Subtitle : ENEGnLgIlSisHh Korean : ECNhGinLeISseH : EDNuGtcLhISH French German Italian Japanese Move Select Return The selected language will only appear if it is supported on the disc. Security The Parental Lock function works in conjunction with DVD discs that have been assigned a numeric rating that indicates the maturity level of the content. When you access this function for the first time, the password setup screen appears. Enter a 4-digit password using the number buttons. (The default password is 0000.) After you have set your password, select a rating level you want to set. The product will only play DVD discs rated below the numeric rating unless the password is entered. For example, if you select Level 6, discs rated Level 7 and 8 will not play. Larger numbers indicate more mature content. Parental Rating Select the rating level you want to set. A larger number indicates that the program is intended for adult use only. For example, if you select up to Level 6, discs that contain Level 7, 8 will not play. Enter the password and then press the ENTER button. - The password is set to "0000" by default. - Once the setup is complete, you will be taken to the previous screen. Change Password Select Change, and then enter a new 4-digit Parental Lock password using the number buttons on the remote control. Disc Menu Select the language for the disc menu displays. Audio Select the language for disc audio. Subtitle Select the language for disc subtitles. a To select another language, select OTHERS in Disc Menu, Audio and Subtitle, and enter the language code of your country (see page 37). a You cannot select OTHERS in the OSD Language menu. ✎ NOTE If you forgot your password In "NO DISC" mode, press and hold the STOP () button on the front panel for 5 seconds or more.
