Installing the Battery Note: Your phone comes packaged with a partially charged rechargeable standard Li-Ion battery and travel adapter. Important!: You must fully charge the battery the first time you use your phone, otherwise you could damage the battery. 1. Insert the top end of the battery first, matching the gold contacts on the top of the battery to those on the phone. 2. Press lightly on the bottom end of the battery down into the phone until it slips into place. 3. Seat the battery cover on the back of the phone (1) and press the battery cover up into place (2). Remove the Battery 1. Press and hold the key to turn off the phone (if on). 2. Press the battery cover down until it releases from its catches (1). Then, lift the cover away from the phone (2). 3. Lift the battery (1) up at the bottom and away from the phone (2). 5

Installing the Battery
Note:
Your phone comes packaged with a partially charged rechargeable
standard Li-Ion battery and travel adapter.
Important!:
You must fully charge the battery the first time you use your
phone, otherwise you could damage the battery.
1.
Insert the top end of the
battery first, matching the
gold contacts on the top of
the battery to those on the
phone.
2.
Press lightly on the bottom
end of the battery down
into the phone until it slips into place.
3.
Seat the battery cover
on the back of the phone
(1) and press the battery
cover up into place (2).
Remove the Battery
1.
Press and hold the
key to turn off the phone
(if on).
2.
Press the battery cover
down until it releases
from its catches (1).
Then, lift the cover away from the phone (2).
3.
Lift the battery (1) up at
the bottom and away
from the phone (2).
