Call Another Country - Shortcut Method 1. In Standby mode, press . A plus sign (+) appears in the display. Note: When you press , your phone automatically replaces this + with 011, the three-digit exit code for the United States. 2. Enter the country code for the country that you are calling, or press until a second plus sign (+) appears in the display. Tip: If you place most or all of your international calls to numbers in the same country, set-up the International Dialing shortcut to dial that country's code for you. (For more information, refer to "International Dialing" on page 75.) Note: When you press , your phone automatically replaces the second + with the two-digit country code you have selected for the International Dialing shortcut. 3. Enter the number that you wish to call, then press . Manual Pause Calling To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it in your Contacts list: 1. In standby mode, enter the number you wish to call. 2. Press Options. The following options appear in the display: • Add 2-Sec Pause: A 2-second pause after which dialing resumes. • Add Wait: A hard pause (waits for input from you). 3. Highlight and press OK to select the desired option. 4. Press Send to call the number. Tip: Press Save to store pauses along with the number if you plan to call the number frequently.
