Section 5: Understanding Your Contacts Up to 500 entries can be stored in Contacts. Each entry can have up to five associated phone numbers and one e-mail address. Each phone number can be up to 32 digits in length, including pauses, and associated names can be up to 32 characters in length. You can assign the Speed Dial numbers of your choice for each entry. Using Security settings, you can also set your Contacts list as Restricted to prevent unauthorized viewing. Note: Although the procedures in this section are written for the phone keypad, you can also perform these procedures using the QWERTY keypad. Finding a Contact Shortcut Key/Menu Method If you've stored a name entry in Contacts, Find allows you to find it quickly. ᮣ In standby mode, press Menu ➔ Contacts ➔ Find. - or - ᮣ Press the Contacts shortcut key / Down Navigation key to open Contacts, then press Find. The Find screen appears in the display with the Go To field and the first Contacts entry highlighted. Voice Method Use the Voice Service ➔ Lookup feature to view contact information for any named contact stored in your Contacts list by saying the name. To look up information for a specific contact: 1. In standby mode, press and hold to launch Voice Service. "Say a Command" appears in the display and is pronounced through the speaker. 2.
