Alert Sounds Choose sounds for new message alerts, emergency tones, missed calls, and device connection and battery charge alerts. 1. From the Home screen, press the Center Select Key to select MENU ➔ Settings & Tools ➔ Sounds Settings ➔ Alert Sounds. 2. Use the Left Soft Key, Right Soft Key, and Center Select Key to make selections for these settings: • TXT Message: - Alert Tone: Select a tone to play when you receive a new text message. - Alert Vibrate: Select On to have your phone will vibrate when you receive a new text message, or Off for no vibration. Vibrate is independent of the Alert Tone. - Reminder: Select Once, Every 2 Minutes, or Every 15 Minutes to have your phone remind you of new text messages, or select Off for no reminders. 142 • Multimedia Message: - Alert Tone: Select a tone to play when you receive a new multimedia message. - Alert Vibrate: Select On to have your phone will vibrate when you receive a new multimedia message, or Off for no vibration. Vibrate is independent of the Alert Tone. - Reminder: Select Once, Every 2 Minutes, or Every 15 Minutes to have your phone remind you of new multimedia messages, or select Off for no reminders. • Voicemail: - Alert Tone: Select a tone to play when you receive a new voicemail message. - Alert Vibrate: Select On to have your phone vibrate when you receive a new voicemail message, or Off for no vibration.
