Sending a Message to Group Members Use Send Message in the Group feature to send a message to as many as 20 members of a group at once. Note: This procedure uses the QWERTY keyboard and command keys. Rotate the phone and slide it open to access the QWERTY keyboard. 1. From the Home screen, press the Center Select Key to select MENU ➔ Contacts ➔ Groups. 2. Use the Directional Keys to highlight a group. 3. Press the Right Soft Key Options ➔ New Message. 4. Mark contact(s) for sending. Use the Directional Keys to highlight contacts, then press the Center Select Key Mark to mark them for sending. When finished, press the Left Soft Key Done. 5. The new message opens, with the cursor positioned in the Text field. Continue creating the message, as desired. For more information, see"Messaging" on page 70. Speed Dials Speed Dials are 1-, 2- or 3-digit shortcuts you assign to contacts, to allow you to quickly call the contact. Note: Some Speed Dials are reserved by default, and cannot be assigned: Speed Dial 1 is reserved for Voicemail. Speed Dial 211 is reserved for information about health and human services, 311 for non-emergency municipal services; 411 for directory assistance; 611 for customer service access; and 911 for emergencies. 52

Use Send Message in the Group feature to send a message

to highlight a group.

Mark contact(s) for sending. Use the

to highlight contacts, then press the

finished, press the

.

The new message opens, with the cursor positioned in
