Making PTT Group Calls You can start or participate in a group call with up to 50 participants. Your phone offers several methods for making group calls: • Choose a PTT Group from Contacts. • Select a group call saved in Recent Calls. • Select and/or enter numbers for a one-time call. During a Group call, the following information may appear on your screen, depending on your coverage area and the coverage of participants, and your service plan: • The name of the Group, if it is a group call to a PTT Group. • The name or PTT number of the person speaking. • The number of group members who are connected on the call out of the number invited. Note: For information about creating PTT Groups in Contacts, see "PTT Groups" on page 51. Making a PTT Group Call Tip: You can also make PTT calls with the phone closed, using the Speakerphone. Press the PTT/Side Key to start, then use the external keys to find a PTT contact, group or call record and make the call. To end a call, press and hold the Speakerphone Key. Making Barge Calls 1. From the Home screen, select Contacts ➔ PTT Groups. MENU ➔ 2. Highlight a PTT Group, then press the PTT/Side Key. A tone plays and and "Connected to" displays. 3. Press and hold the PTT/Side Key, and begin talking. "Talking to" displays on your phone screen. 4. Press the End/Power Key to end the call. Push-to-Talk (PTT) Functions 31

Making PTT Group Calls
You can start or participate in a group call with up to 50
participants. Your phone offers several methods for making group
calls:
Choose a PTT Group from Contacts.
Select a group call saved in Recent Calls.
Select and/or enter numbers for a one-time call.
During a Group call, the following information may appear on
your screen, depending on your coverage area and the coverage
of participants, and your service plan:
The name of the Group, if it is a group call to a PTT Group.
The name or PTT number of the person speaking.
The number of group members who are connected on the call out of
the number invited.

Making a PTT Group Call
Tip:
You can also make PTT calls with the phone closed, using the
Speakerphone. Press the
PTT/Side Key
to start, then use the external

To end a call, press and hold the
