Section 17: Accessibility TTY Settings TTY (also known as a TDD or Text Telephone) is a telecommunications device that allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who have speech or language disabilities, to communicate via a telephone. This phone comes TTY-ready and only requires the connection of the TTY device to enable this feature. Use the following step to access the TTY settings: ᮣ Inserting a TTY connector into the Headset/Adapter jack (on the upper right side of the phone) enables this function.
