Options During a Call Your phone provides a number of control functions that you can use during a call. Adjusting the Call Volume Adjust the earpiece volume during a call by pressing the Up and Down Navigation keys. Press the Up Navigation key to increase the volume level and press the Down Navigation key to decrease the volume level. Putting a Call on Hold You can place the current call on hold whenever you want. You can also make another call while you have a call in progress if your network supports this service. To put a call on hold: 1. While on a call, press the Hold soft key to place your call on hold. 2. You can later reactivate this call whenever you want by pressing the Retrieve soft key. Making a new call while you have a call in progress 1. While on a call, press the Hold soft key. 2. Enter the new phone number you wish to dial or look it up in the Contact list. 3. Press - or - to dial the second number. Press the Options soft key, then select New Call. Enter the number to call or search in your contacts. Press to dial the second number. Once connected, both calls are displayed on the screen, showing you which call is On Hold. 24

Options During a Call
Your phone provides a number of control functions that you can use during a call.
Adjusting the Call Volume
Adjust the earpiece volume during a call by pressing the
Up
and
Down
Navigation
keys. Press the
Up
Navigation key to increase the volume level and press the
Down
Navigation key to decrease the volume level.
Putting a Call on Hold
You can place the current call on hold whenever you want. You can also make
another call while you have a call in progress if your network supports this service.
To put a call on hold:
1.
While on a call, press the
Hold
soft key to place your call on hold.

You can later reactivate this call whenever you want by pressing the
Retrieve

Making a new call while you have a call in progress
1.
While on a call, press the

soft key.
