Switching off the Microphone (Mute) During a call, you can temporarily switch your phone microphone off so that the other person cannot hear you. Press the Mute/Unmute soft key. Searching for a Number in Address Book You can search for a number from the Address Book during a call. 1. Press the Options soft key, then select Contact List. 2. Highlight the Contact List entry. - or - Enter the first few letters of the contact into the Search field to highlight the closest match. 3. Press Options ➔ View or to view your selected contact. Call Waiting The Call Waiting feature alerts you of an incoming call while you have a call in progress, if this service is supported by the network. To activate the Call waiting feature, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Calls ➔ Voice Call ➔ Call Waiting ➔ Voice Call ➔ Activate. To answer a call while you have a call in progress: 1. While on a call, press or press the Accept soft key to answer a new incoming call. The first call is automatically put on hold when you answer the new incoming call. 2. To switch between the two calls, press Options ➔ Swap. Swap places the current call on hold and then activates the previous call. Call Functions 25
