Using the Voice Dialer Voice dialer is a voice recognition software used to activate a wide variety of functions on your phone. 1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Voice Dialer. 2. When the Voice Dialer displays the "Listening" prompt, say one of the following commands: • "Call John Doe" • "Call John Doe at home,..." • "Call voicemail" • "Dial (866) 555 0123" • "Dial 911, 811,..." • "Dial +44 7333 444 555" • "Redial" • "Open Calendar" 3. A menu prompts you to confirm your selection. If you said a name with more than one match in Contacts, or if you stored more than one number for the contact, you are prompted to select from multiple options. International Calls 1. From the Home screen, touch , then touch and hold . The + symbol displays. 2. Use the on-screen keypad to enter the country code, area code, and phone number. • If you make a mistake, touch 3. Touch Call . Pause Dialing until the numbers are deleted. To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it in your Contacts list: 1. From the Home screen, touch and use the on-screen keypad to enter the phone number. 2. Press to display the dialer sub-menu. 3. Select Add 2 sec pause to add a two-second pause, and use the keypad to enter the additional numbers. Tip: You can create pauses longer than two seconds by entering multiple 2-sec pauses. 4.
