Using burst modes (continuous, motion capture, AEB) It can be difficult to capture photos of fast-moving subjects or capture natural facial expressions and gestures of your subjects in photos. Also, it can be difficult to adjust the exposure correctly and select a proper light source. In these cases, select one of the burst modes. 1 In Shooting mode, press [m]. 2 Select Drive. 3 Select an option. Icon Description Single: Capture a single photo. Continuous: • While you are pressing [Shutter], the camera continuously captures photos. • The maximum number of photos depends on the capacity of your memory card. Icon Description Motion Capture: While you are pressing [Shutter], the camera captures photos (5 photos per second; maximum of 30 photos). AEB: • Capture 3 consecutive photos, each with a different exposure: normal, underexposed, and overexposed. • Use a tripod to prevent blurry photos. • You can use the flash, timer, OIS, and ACB only when you select Single. • When you select Motion Capture, your camera will set the resolution to and set the ISO sensitivity to Auto. • Depending on the Face Detection option you selected, some Burst options may not be available.
