OVERRIDE ENTRIES Programmed limit for functions (such as for maximum amounts) can be overridden by making an entry in the MGR mode. 1. Turn the mode switch to the MGR position. 2. A CORRECTION AFTER FINALIZING A TRANSACTION (Void mode) When you need to void incorrect entries that clerks cannot correct (incorrect entries found after finalizing a transaction, or a transaction that cannot be corrected by direct or indirect void), follow this procedure: 1. Turn the mode switch to the VOID position using the manager key (MA), to enter void mode. 2. Repeat the entries that are recorded on the incorrect receipt. (All data for the incorrect receipt are removed from register memory; the voided amounts are added to the void-mode transaction totalizer.) TRANSACTION

When you need to void incorrect entries that clerks cannot correct (incorrect entries found after finalizing a
transaction, or a transaction that cannot be corrected by direct or indirect void), follow this procedure:
1.
Turn the mode switch to the
VOID
position using the manager key (MA), to enter
void mode.
2.
Repeat the entries that are recorded on the incorrect receipt.
(All data for the
incorrect receipt are removed from register memory; the voided amounts are
added to the void-mode transaction totalizer.)
