Press until Hide my number or Show my numb. is highlighted. 4. Press Y E S to make the call. Receiving a Call When you receive a call, the phone rings and the display shows Answer?. If your subscription includes the Calling Line Identification (CLI) service and the caller's network sends the number, the caller's number appears in the display. If the incoming call is a restricted number, the display shows Withheld. If the incoming call is an unknown number, the display shows Unknown. If the number has a name associated with it in the contacts list, then the name will also be displayed. Answering a Call • Press Y E S to answer the call. Rejecting a Call • Slide the volume key on the side of the phone twice, or press N O . The display shows Busy tone. The caller hears a busy tone if this is supported by the caller's subscription. If the When busy divert function is on, the call is diverted to the number you have specified. See "Diverting Calls" on page 95. Missed Calls If you have missed a call, the message Missed calls: 1 appears in standby mode, where the number, in this case 1, indicates the number of missed calls. 1. Press Y E S to display the missed calls. 2. Press Y E S to call the number. Tip: You can also see the missed calls list in the Call info menu. Missed calls are also saved in the call list. Turning Your Phone Off • In standby mode, press and hold the N O key until you hear a tone. 14 Making Calls
