Microphone During a call, you can turn off the microphone. • Press and hold until Muted appears in the display. • Press and hold again to resume the conversation. Tip: Instead of pressing and holding hold by pressing YE S . , you can put the call on Speakerphone You can use your phone as a speakerphone during a call, for example when you want others to participate in a conversation or when you need to have your hands free during the call. We recommend that you use the speakerphone in a quiet environment. To turn the speakerphone on or off 1. During a call or in standby, press . 2. Press until Speakerphone or Deact. Speaker is highlighted, press Y ES . When the speakerphone is on, an icon appears. Warning! While the speakerphone is on, do not hold the phone close to your ear as this may cause damage to your hearing. Hold the phone about 30 - 50 cm in front of your face and speak into the microphone.
