You can find the contact by searching for either first or last name, depending on which sort order you have set. To select a sort order 1. Scroll to Phone book, Y E S , Options, Y E S , Sort order, Y E S . 2. Select a sort order and press Y E S . To call a contact 1. Scroll to Phone book, Y E S , Call contact, Y E S . 2. Enter the first letter of the contact name and press Y E S . 3. If the default phone number of the contact is the number you want to call, press and hold Y E S . If you want to call another phone number, press Y E S to go to the contact. Press or to go to the phone number you want to call. Press Y E S to make the call. Tip: A quicker way to enter the Call contact menu is to press and hold from standby. Shortcuts to Contacts When in standby, you can find a contact by: • pressing and holding one of the keys 2-9 to find a contact beginning with a specific letter. For example, pressing and holding 2 takes you to the first contact beginning with the letter A (or closest following). Shortcuts to Phone Numbers When in standby, you can find a phone number on the SIM card by: • entering its position number followed by . Once you are in the list of contacts you can use or through the list, or a letter to go to a certain name. to scroll To see the position of the phone numbers that you have saved, go to Phone book, Y E S , Options, Y E S , Position list, Y E S . Speed Dialling You can call the phone numbers that are saved in positions 1-9 on the SIM card. • From standby, enter the position number and press Y E S .
