Adjusting the exposure The exposure is adjusted automatically in the default setting. Adjusting the exposure for backlit subjects When your subject has its back to the sun or other light, you can adjust the exposure to prevent the subject from becoming shadowed. Fixing the exposure for the selected subject - Flexible spot meter You can adjust and fix the exposure to the subject, so that it is recorded in suitable brightness even when there is strong contrast between the subject and the background (such as subjects in the limelight on stage). 1 Touch during recording or in the standby mode. 2 Touch [SPOT METER]. exposure
The exposure is adjusted automatically in the
default setting.
Adjusting the exposure for backlit
subjects
When your subject has its back to the sun or
other light, you can adjust the exposure to

Press BACK LIGHT during recording or
in the standby mode.

Fixing the exposure for the
selected subject – Flexible spot

You can adjust and fix the exposure to the
subject, so that it is recorded in suitable
