You can shoot subjects approaching up to 2 cm (13/16 inches) when the zoom is set to its Wend. However, the available focus distance depends on the zoom position. We recommend that you set the zoom to its Wend during shooting. When the zoom is set all the way to the W side: Approx. 2 cm (13/16 inches) from the end of the lens When the zoom is set all the way to the T side: Approx. 60 cm (23 5/8 inches) from the end of the lens • We recommend that you use Flexible Spot AF (page 65). 1 , Set the mode dial to , and press (macro).
