Notes on using the recorder together with a dry
battery
•
It is recommended that you use the recorder only after
attaching the dry battery case and inserting a new dry battery
into the case.
•
If the recorder has not been used for a few days after the battery
became exhausted and “LOW BATT” appeared in the display, the
recorder may not operate even after you insert a new dry battery or
attach the dry battery case with a battery in it. If this happens,
charge the built-in rechargeable battery and then try using the
recorder again.
Notes on charging
•
When the recorder has not been used for a long time, the charge
lamp will not light up immediately after you place the recorder on
the USB cradle.
If this happens, leave the recorder on the cradle
for a few minutes, and then take the recorder off and reset it on
the cradle.
Also make sure that the BUILT-IN BATTERY switch
at the rear of the recorder is set to ON.
•
It is recommended that you charge the built-in rechargeable battery
immediately after “LOW BATT” appears in the display.
•
Set the BUILT-IN BATTERY switch at the rear of the recorder to
OFF if the recorder will not be used for a long time.
For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the
recorder.
