Settings Changing the Settings You can change the various settings using the "Settings" menu. The following procedure is the basic way to change settings. 1 Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the HOME menu appears. 2 Press the / button to select (Settings), and then press the button to confirm. 3 Press the / button to select the item you want, and then press the button to confirm. 4 Repeat step 3 and change its value, and then press the button to confirm each time. To return to the previous menu Press the BACK/HOME button. "Music Settings" Setting Description "Play Mode" "Equalizer" Selects a variety of play modes, including random play and selected repeat play. For details, see "Setting the Play Mode"( page 24). Selects a desired sound quality according to the music genre, etc. For details, see "Setting the Sound Quality"( page 26). 42 "FM Settings" (NWZ-B133F/B135F only) Setting "Scan Sensitivity" "FM Auto Preset" Description Adjusts sensitivity to find broadcast stations. If the player does not find your desired broadcast station due to weak reception, set to "High." If the reception is too sensitive and the player receives signals from unwanted stations, set to "Low." "High" is set by default. Presets receivable broadcast stations automatically. For details, see "Presetting Desired Broadcast Stations"( page 31). "Rec Settings" Setting "Voice Record Codec" (voice record settings) Description Selects a level of recording quality from "Low," "Mid," or "High." The higher the level is, the more memory the player uses for recording sound. "Mid" is set by default. Continued 43 Settings
