You can enjoy high resolution progressive signals if you have connected a progressive
format TV to the DVD-VCR’s COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks (red/green/blue)
using a component video cord.
If you do not connect a progressive format TV but set the “Progressive” setting in the
Screen Setup Menu, the images on your TV screen may become unclear or unnatural.
In
this case, the “Progressive” setting can be canceled by pressing the
X
(pause) button on
the front panel of the unit continuously for 5 seconds or more.
