This file contains details about the TASCAM IF-FW/DM

II V1.10

drivers.

The V1.10 Mac driver adds support for the latest OS

versions and includes many performance and stability

enhancements. All users are highly recommended to use V1.10

Differences to V1.00

-

Added compatibility with OS X 10.5.2

-

In V1.00, there was sometimes a different latency between

channels 1-16 and channels 17-32. V1.10 has the same fixed

latency for all channels.

On Power PC G5 machines, sometimes noise was present on

the audio inputs and outputs. This has been fixed.

When the FireWire cable is removed and the FireWire

connection is broken, sometimes the mixer had to be powered

off and on in order to regain connectivity.

Problems with large memory systems have been fixed.

Overall stability has been improved.

In order to use the IF-FW/DMmkII on the DM-4800 and DM-3200

mixers, the firmware versions listed above must be used. If your

DM-4800 or DM-3200 has an older version, please update it before

attempting to use the IF-FW/DMmkII. The versions listed above

are included on the IF-FW/DMmkII CD, or the latest versions can

be downloaded from the TASCAM website (
