Playback Playing MP3/WMA files You can play MP3/WMA files that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on this recorder. Preparations • Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this recorder. See • Set "Priority contents" ( page 116) to "Audio". page 73. OPEN/CLOSE DISPLAY FL SELECT DIMMER PROGRESSIVE ANGLE SUBTITLE AUDIO/SAP FREEZE Start REMAIN REC MODE EXTEND ZOOM SETUP VOL TIMESLIP CH MUTE INPUT SELECT TOP MENU EASY NAVI MENU 1 Load a CD that contains MP3/WMA files. OPEN/CLOSE Playback starts from the first track of a current folder. SELECT/ TV DVD Notes • WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played. • The DIGITAL AUDIO OUT BITSTREAM/PCM jack outputs MP3/WMA sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the current "Audio out select" ( page 114) selection. • You cannot change the playback speed of MP3/WMA playback. To stop playback Press STOP. If you press PLAY button after pressing STOP button, playback will start from the the beginning of the track. To pause playback Press . To resume, press button again or press PLAY button. To skip tracks During playback, press SKIP FWD or SKIP REV repeatedly. SKIP FWD : To skip forward. SKIP REV : To skip backward. Selecting a track in the disc 2 ways are available: 72 On "CONTENT MENU Audio List" 1) Press EASY NAVI. 2) Press / / / to select "Play Contents", then press SELECT/ENTER. CONTENT MENU Audio List appears. Current folder e.g. CONTENT MENU Audio List 1 / 1 Page CD MP3 001 MP3_0001 004 MP3_0004 007 MP3_0007 010 MP3_0010 002 MP3_0002 005 MP3_0005 008 MP3_0008 011 MP3_0011 003 MP3_0003 006 MP3_0006 009 MP3_0009 012 MP3_0012 File number If you select this icon and press SELECT/ENTER button, upper folders appear. e.g. CONTENT MENU Audio List JPG_MP3 MP3 MP3c 003 MP3_0003 1 / 1 Page MP3a 001 MP3_0001 004 MP3_0004 CD All MP3b 002 MP3_0002 Disc name The recorder creates temporary folder "All", which contains all playable files.
