2 Coaxial Cable Back of TV Ethernet Cable If you have an external antenna, a cable connection that extends from a wall outlet, or a cable box, connect it to the TV with an RF/Coaxial cable. If you have a cable or satellite box, you do not need to scan for channels. These devices do not use the TV's digital tuner. If you have a high-speed internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your modem or router to the back of the TV as shown. For the best connection, VIZIO recommends using an Ethernet cable. However your TV also has builtin Wi-Fi. See the 'Connecting to the Internet' section for more information.
