INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing the VTech
®
Car Adaptor. Be sure to read and follow all
instructions carefully before using this product.
1. Plug the adaptor connector into your
car’s accessory socket.
2. Plug the other end into the DC power
jack of your VTech
®
product.
NOTE: The car adaptor does not charge the
batteries in your VTech
®
product . It simply acts
as an alternative source of power.

Important Safety Instructions
1. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS - This manual contains important safety and operating
instructions for the car adaptor.
2. Before using the car adaptor, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the
adaptor.
3. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the car adaptor manufacturer
may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
4. To reduce the risk of damage to the adaptor and cord, pull by the adaptor connector
rather than by the cord when disconnecting the adaptor.
5. Make sure the cord is positioned so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or
otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
6. Do not operate the car adaptor with a damaged cord. Replace it immediately.
7. Do not operate the car adaptor if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or
otherwise damaged in any way.
8. To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the adaptor before attempting any
maintenance or cleaning. Turning off the power will not reduce this risk.
