SIDEBURNER TROUBLESHOOTING 13 PROBLEM Side Burner burns with a yellow or orange flame, in conjunction with the smell of gas. Side Burner does not light. CHECK Inspect side burner orifice alignment (Position of orifice to side burner tube.) Is gas supply off? CURE Loosen orifice and re-align orifice parallel to the side burner tube (3). (See Section "Side Burner Maintenance") Turn supply on. Flame is low in "HI" position Push button ignition does not work. Is the fuel hose bent or kinked? Does burner light with a match? Straighten hose. If match lights burner, check igniter (see below). If problems cannot be corrected by using these methods, please contact the Customer Service Representative in your area using the contact information on our web site. Log onto www.weber.com®. SIDE BURNER MAINTENANCE ƽ WARNING: All gas controls and supply valves should be in the "OFF" position. Make sure black wire is connected between the igniter and electrode. Make sure white wire is connected between the igniter and grounding clip.
