11. Untie and discard the wire tie on the Reed Switch Wire (33). 11 8 While a second person holds the Console (8) near the Upright (3), connect the wire on the Console to the Reed Switch Wire (33). Insert the excess wire into the Upright (3) or into the Console (8). Tip: Avoid pinching the wires. Identify the Right Pedal (12), which is marked with an “"R.”" 12 Using an adjustable wrench, firmly tighten the Right Pedal (12) clockwise into the right side of the Crank (24). Firmly tighten the Left Pedal (not shown) counterclockwise into the left side of the Crank (not shown). Adjust the strap on the Right Pedal (12) to the desired position and press the end of the strap onto the tab on the Right Pedal. Using an adjustable wrench,
firmly tighten
the
Right Pedal (12)
clockwise
into the right side of
the Crank (24).
Firmly tighten
the Left Pedal (not shown)
coun-
terclockwise
into the left side of the Crank (not
shown).
Adjust the strap on the Right Pedal (12) to the
desired position and press the end of the strap
onto the tab on the Right Pedal.
Adjust the
strap on the Left Pedal (not shown) in the
same way.
13.
Make sure that all parts are properly tightened before you use the exercise bike.
