Troubleshooting Entire Page Prints Black or Color Probable Causes One or more of the the imaging units may be defective. Image Prints Too Light Solutions Remove the imaging units one at a time, and check for damage. If it is damaged, replace it. Probable Causes Solutions The density is too light. Select a darker copy density. The paper is moist from humidity. Remove the paper and try a fresh ream. Media type is set incorrectly. Unsupported media (wrong size, thickness, type, etc.) is being used. The printer needs to be calibrated. When printing envelopes, labels, heavyweight stock, or transparencies, specify the appropriate media type in the printer driver. Use Xerox-approved media. See Supported Media on page 55.
