Troubleshooting White or Black Areas Print in Regular Pattern Probable Causes Foreign material in the paper path. One or more of the imaging units may be defective. Solutions Inspect the paper path and remove any foreign material. Remove the imaging units one at a time, and check for damage. If it is damaged, replace it. Image Prints with Defects Probable Causes A toner cartridge may be defective. The imaging unit may be defective. Solutions Remove the toner cartridge with the color causing the abnormal image.
