Printing Loading Media This section includes: • Loading Paper in Tray 1 (MPT) on page 57 • Loading Paper in Trays 2-5 on page 62 Most paper sizes can be loaded in the trays either long-edge feed or short-edge feed, however, printing long-edge feed is recommended to optimize the life of the printer, supplies, and print speed. Loading Paper in Tray 1 (MPT) Tray 1 (MPT) accepts the following paper types: • Plain paper • Heavy plain paper • Transparencies • Thin Card Stock • Card Stock • Thick Card Stock • Extra Thick Card Stock • Envelopes • Labels • Letterhead • Thin Glossy Paper • Glossy Paper • Thick Glossy Paper • Preprinted paper • Prepunched paper • Recycled paper • Specialty media • Custom types Tray 1 (MPT) accepts a maximum of: • 100 sheets of plain paper (20 lb.
