This information also applies to the Regal 5790.
The Xerox MajestiK 5760 / 5765 Digital Color Copier has been
licensed by Pantone, Inc. to print PANTONE Color simulations.
This means that Pantone, Inc. and Xerox Corporation have
worked together to develop the PANTONE Color Lookup Table
that can be used to create documents using Pantone Colors
through xerographic simulations on the 5760 / 5765 Copier.
There are a total of 945 certified PANTONE Colors for the
MajestiK 5760 / 5765 Copier.
The purpose of this document is to provide you with the
information needed to create simulated PANTONE Colors on the
5760 / 5765 Copier. Note that you will not be able to create these
colors if you do not have a MajestiK 5765 or a MajestiK 5760ADF
with the Edit Pad option.
The Pantone Color Lookup Table in the following pages lists the
correct Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow values that are required to
simulate a specific PANTONE Color. Using the table, you can
enter values on the 5760 / 5765 Copier that will create close
approximations of PANTONE Colors on your printed output.
Please understand that the PANTONE Colors generated by any
four-color digital device are four-color process simulations of
solid PANTONE color standards. While they are designed to
match the solid color standards as closely as possible, only
specific inks mixed according to PANTONE Color formulas can
match PANTONE solid colors.
