Here are some other ways you can play the styles, the style volume adjustment procedure, how you can play chords using the styles, and more. Pattern Variation (Sections) The DGX-530/YPG-535 features a wide variety of style "sections" that allow you to vary the arrangement of the accompaniment to match the song you are playing. Intro Main A/B Ending Auto fill ● INTRO section This is used for the beginning of the Song. When the intro finishes playing, accompaniment shifts to the main section. The length of the intro (in measures) differs depending on the selected Style. ● MAIN section This is used for playing the main part of the Song. It plays a main accompaniment pattern, and repeats indefinitely until another section's button is pressed. There are two variations on the basic pattern (A and B), and the Style playback sound changes harmonically based on the chords you play with your left hand. ● Fill-in section This is automatically added before changing to section A or B. ● ENDING section This is used for the ending of the Song. Basic operation of the Style (auto-accompaniment) feature is described on page 25 of
the Quick Guide.
Here are some other ways you can play the styles, the style volume adjustment proce-
dure, how you can play chords using the styles, and more.
The DGX-530/YPG-535 features a wide variety of style “sections” that allow you to vary the arrangement
of the accompaniment to match the song you are playing.
INTRO section
This is used for the beginning of the Song. When the intro finishes playing, accompaniment shifts to the
main section. The length of the intro (in measures) differs depending on the selected Style.
