Problem Cause The menu of the unit is not displayed on the TV. The TV is not connected to the unit via HDMI. Another input source is selected on the TV. FM/AM radio Problem FM radio reception is weak or noisy. Cause There is multi-path interference. Your area is too far from the FM station transmitter. AM radio reception is weak or noisy. The noises may be caused by fluorescent lamps, motors, thermostats, or other electrical equipment. Your area is too far from the FM station transmitter. Radio stations cannot be selected automatically. The AM radio signal is weak. AM radio stations cannot be registered as presets. Auto Preset has been used. Remedy You can display the menu of the unit on the TV only when they are connected with an HDMI cable. If necessary, use an HDMI cable to connect them (p.18 to 21). Switch the TV input to display the video from the unit (HDMI OUT jack). Remedy Adjust the FM antenna height or orientation, or place it in a different location. Press MODE to select monaural FM radio reception (p.42). Use an outdoor FM antenna. We recommend using a sensitive multi-element antenna. It is difficult to completely eliminate noise. Remedy Turn off the unit, reconnect your USB device, and turn the unit on again. Use a USB device with FAT16 or FAT32 format. Use a USB device without an encryption function. Enable the DHCP server function on your router and set "DHCP" in the "Setup" menu to "On" on the unit (p.77). USB and network
The menu of the unit is not displayed on the TV.
The TV is not connected to the unit via HDMI.
You can display the menu of the unit on the TV only when they are connected with
an HDMI cable. If necessary, use an HDMI cable to connect them (p.18 to 21).
Another input source is selected on the TV.
Switch the TV input to display the video from the unit (HDMI OUT jack).
