,,QQ,,QQThe,,QQMult,,QQi Pads,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ,,QQ Playing the MULTI PADs Simply tap any of the MULTI PADs at any time to play back the corresponding phrase at the currently set tempo. MULTI PAD playback begins as soon as the button is pressed. You can even play two, three, or four MULTI PADs at the same time. Also, you can create "retriggered sample" effects by repeatedly pressing a pad before its contents are completely played back. MULTI PAD STOP 1 2 3 4 • Pressing the pad during its playback will stop playing and begin playing from the top again. BEAT 1234 MULTI PAD The MULTI PAD voices are indepedent from the voices you have currently selected for keyboard performance. You could, for example, play piano on the keyboard while a MULTI PAD plays a brass chord stab. When the CHORD MATCH function (page 63) for a pad is turned on, the corresponding phrase will be automatically transposed to match chords played using the PSR-730/630 Auto-accompaniment feature. MULTI PAD playback can be terminated by pressing the MULTI PAD [STOP] button.
