Getting Started 3 Chapter 1-Getting Started In this chapter we explain how to set up a QS1 system and install and start-up the QS1 software. Dummy Device 5 When QS1 starts up, it checks to see what devices are connected. An icon for each active device is displayed in the Device window. Inactive devices appear with gray icons. 6 Chapter 2 - EQ Devices Chapter 2-EQ Devices In this chapter we explain about devices and the Option menu commands. What is a Device? A device is a QS1 compatible digital equalizer. Deleting a Device 7 Deleting a Device 1. To delete a device, select it in the Device window. 2. Choose Delete Device from the Edit menu. An alert box appears. 3. Click OK to delete, or Cancel. 8 Chapter 2 - EQ Devices Loading Device Data The Load Device command allows you to load data from an individual Device file. 1. Select the device that you want to load the data to in the Device window. The name under the selected device's icon becomes highlighted. 2. 10 Chapter 2 - EQ Devices Equalizer Type The Graphic Equalizer and Parametric Equalizer commands allow you to set a device to either Graphic or Parametric mode. 1.
