Job 10 Shift Event 7. Pattern Jobs • This job replaces all occurrences of a specified event type (within the selected segment of the selected phrase) with some other designated event type. Although the event type itself is replaced, its accompanying argument (parameter value) is retained and applied to the new event type. • As an example, you can use this function to change every breath-controller event into a channel-aftertouch event, while leaving the magnitude of the event unchanged. 1. Job 10
Shift Event
This job replaces all occurrences of a specified event type
(within the selected segment of the selected phrase) with
some other designated event type. Although the event type
itself is replaced, its accompanying argument (parameter
value) is retained and applied to the new event type.
As an example, you can use this function to change every
breath-controller event into a channel-aftertouch event, while
leaving the magnitude of the event unchanged.
