To play a source with the digital sound field processor 2 3 1 Follow step 1-6 shown in "OPERATIONS" on page 13. 2 Select the desired program that is suitable for the source. 3 If desired, adjust the delay time and the output level of each speaker. (For details, refer to the corresponding descriptions on this page and the next page.) Note If you prefer to cancel the selected program, press the OFF switch. The sound will be the normal 2-channel stereo without surround sound effect. PRO LOGIC Adjustment of DELAY TIME You can adjust the time difference between the beginning of the source sound and the beginning of the effect sound with the DELAY TIME control. The DELAY TIME control is effective with all programs. By applying more or less delay, sound effects, background noise, and ambient noise coming at you from the rear speakers can be enhanced or subdued for extra effect. 1. PRO LOGIC: 2. ENHANCED: 3. Adjustment of DELAY TIME
You can adjust the time difference between the beginning of
the source sound and the beginning of the effect sound with
the
DELAY TIME
control.
The
DELAY TIME
control is effective with all programs.
By applying more or less delay, sound effects, background
noise, and ambient noise coming at you from the rear speakers
can be enhanced or subdued for extra effect.
