Troubleshooting Error message E-5:NOISY Cause Measurement cannot be performed accurately due to loud ambient noise. E-6:CHECK SUR. E-7:NO MIC E-8:NO SIGNAL Surround back speakers are connected, though surround L/R speakers are not. The optimizer microphone was unplugged during the "Auto Setup" procedure. The optimizer microphone does not detect test tones. E-9:USER CANCEL "Auto Setup" was cancelled due to an inappropriate user operation. E-10:INTERNAL ERROR An internal error occurred. Remedy Try running "Auto Setup" in a quiet environment. Turn off noisy electric equipment like air conditioners or move them away from the optimizer microphone. When using surround back speakers, you need to connect surround L/R speakers. Do not touch the optimizer microphone during "Auto Setup." Check whether the microphone is properly placed. Check whether the speakers are properly placed and connected. The optimizer microphone or OPTIMIZER MIC jack may be defective. Contact the nearest Yamaha dealer or service center.
