To replace the batteries: Rear Door Security Lock Your Buick is equipped with rear door security locks that help prevent passengers from opening the rear doors of your car from the inside. To use one of these locks: CHILD 1. Remove the screw from the back cover. 2. Lift off the front cover, bottom half first. SECURITY 1. Move the lever all the way up to the ENGAGED position. LOCK SET LEVER ON BOTH REAR DOORS 2 Close the door. . 3. Do the same thing to the other rear door lock. 3. Remove and replace the batteries. Put them in as the direction under the batteries indicate. 4. Replace the front cover. Make sure the cover is on tightly, so water won't get in. Replace the screw in the back cover. The rear doors of your vehicle cannot be opened from inside when this feature is in use. If you want to open a rear door when the security lock is on: 1. Unlock the door from the inside, 2. Then open the door from the outside. 68
