Move the shift lever into the PARK (P) position like this: Leaving Your Vehicle With the Engine Running 0 Hold in the button on thelever, then push the lever all the way toward the front of your vehicle. Move the ignition key to LOCK. If you can leave your vehicle with the ignitionkey in your hand, your vehicle is in PARK (P).
