Follow these steps to reinstall the air cleaner cover to the air cleaner housing: 1. When installing the air cleaner cover, be sure to align the two tabs located on the back of the air cleaner cover with the two slots on the back of the air cleaner housing. 2. Push slightly down and forward to slide the air cleaner cover and housing back into place and close. 3. Reinstall and tighten the two wing nuts on the top of the air cleaner assembly. Refer to the Maintenance Schedule to determine when to replace the air filter. 3. Remove the air filter element and any loose debris that may be found laying in the air cleaner base. 4. Replace the air filter element. See "Scheduled Maintenance Services" in the Maintenance Schedule booklet. 6-17
