Leva comando starter (fig. 10 e 11) Il comando starter serve per agevolare la partenza a freddo del motore e innalzare il regime di rotazione minimo, dopo l'avviamento. I Commutatore destro (fig. 12 e13) 1) Interruttore ARRESTO MOTORE, a due posizioni: posizione (RUN) = marcia. posizione (OFF) = arresto del motore. Manopola girevole comando acceleratore (fig. 12 e 13) La manopola girevole (3), sul lato destro del manubrio, comanda l'apertura delle valvole del corpo farfallato. Tappo serbatoio carburante (fig. 19) Apertura Sollevare il coperchietto (1) di protezione ed inserire la chiave nella serratura. Ruotare di 1/4 di giro la chiave in senso orario per sbloccare la serratura. Sollevare il tappo. Cavalletto laterale (fig. 22) Importante Prima d'azionare il cavalletto laterale, accertarsi dell'adeguata consistenza e planarità della superficie d'appoggio. I 900 Registri di regolazione forcella anteriore La forcella del motociclo 900 è regolabile sia nella fase di estensione (ritorno) sia nella compressione degli steli. I Versione semicarenata (fig. 38) Svitare la vite (3) di fissaggio di ogni semicarena alla staffa di supporto inferiore. Scollegare le connessioni degli indicatori e rimuovere le semicarene. Cupolino Svitare i due dadi (1, fig. 40) di fissaggio degli specchietti retrovisori. Rimuovete gli specchietti dal cupolino. Svitare le tre viti di fissaggio (2, fig. 41) di ogni semicarena al cupolino. I Sollevamento serbatoio carburante (fig. 43 e 44) Rimuovere la sella (vedi pag. 22). Sganciare, tirandolo verso l'alto, il gancio elastico (1, fig. 43) anteriore, dal supporto del serbatoio. Sostituzione del filtro aria (fig. 45 e 46) Il filtro aria deve essere sostituito agli intervalli prescritti sulla tabella di manutenzione periodica (vedi Libretto di Garanzia). I Controllo livello fluido freni e frizione Il livello non deve scendere al di sotto della tacca di MIN evidenziata sui rispettivi serbatoi (fig. da 47 a 51). Impianto frizione Se il gioco della leva di comando è eccessivo e il motociclo salta o si arresta all'inserimento della marcia, indica una presenza d'aria nell'impianto. Verifica usura pastiglie freno (fig. 52) I Freno anteriore Per facilitare il controllo delle pastiglie dei freni, senza doverle rimuovere dalla pinza, ogni pastiglia riporta un indicatore di consumo. Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni della guaina esterna del cavo di comando acceleratore e comando starter. I ➤ 44 ➤ Regolazione del cavo comando acceleratore La manopola di comando acceleratore in tutte le posizioni di sterzata deve avere una corsa a vuoto, misurata sulla periferia del bordino della manopola, di 1,5÷2,0 mm. Carica della batteria (fig. 57) Per ricaricare la batteria è consigliabile rimuoverla dal motociclo. Staccare per primo, il terminale negativo (-) nero, poi quello positivo (+) rosso. I Tensionamento della catena trasmissione Far girare lentamente la ruota posteriore per trovare la posizione in cui la catena risulta più tesa. Con il motociclo sul cavalletto laterale, spingere la catena con un dito verso l'alto in corrispondenza della mezzeria del forcellone. 750Sport/750 Lubrificazione della catena trasmissione Questo tipo di catena è provvista di anelli o-ring per proteggere gli elementi di scorrimento dagli agenti esterni e mantenere più a lungo la lubrificazione. I Sostituzione lampadine luci Prima di procedere alla sostituzione di una lampadina fulminata accertarsi che quella di ricambio abbia i valori di tensione e potenza uguali a quelli specificati nel paragrafo "Impianto Elettrico" a pag. 67. I Indicatori di direzione (fig. 65) Svitare la vite (1) e separare la coppetta (2) dal supporto indicatore. La lampadina ha un innesto a baionetta, per estrarla occorre premere e ruotarla in senso antiorario. Luce arresto Per la sostituzione della lampadina luce arresto e posizione, è necessario svitare le due viti (1, fig. 68) che fissano il trasparente e rimuoverlo. I Orientamento del proiettore (fig. 70) Controllare se il proiettore è correttamente orientato mettendo il motociclo, con i pneumatici gonfiati alla giusta pressione e con una persona seduta in sella, perfettamente perpendicolare con il suo asse longitudinale di fronte ad una parete o ad uno - 2001 Ducati SuperSport 900 | Owners Manual - Page 53
La rettifica dell'orientamento verticale del proiettore si può effettuare agendo sulla vite di regolazione (1, fig. 71), sul lato sinistro del proiettore. Ruotando la vite in senso orario il fascio luminoso si abbasserà, viceversa, si alzerà. I Riparazione o sostituzione pneumatici I pneumatici senza camera d'aria in presenza di forature di lieve entità, impiegano molto tempo a sgonfiarsi in quanto hanno un certo grado d'autotenuta. Controllo livello olio motore (fig. 73) Il livello dell'olio nel motore è visibile attraverso l'oblò di ispezione (1) posto sul coperchio frizione.
