Se il valore della temperatura è uguale o inferiore a +39 °C / 102,2 °F sul display compare la scritta "LO" lampeggiante. Funzione regolazione orologio Premere il pulsante (A, fig. 5), per 2 secondi, la scritta AM lampeggia. Se viene premuto il pulsante (B, fig. 5), lampeggia la scritta PM; premendo il pulsante (B) si ritorna al passo precedente. Funzione "Consumo medio" (fig. 11) Quando il veicolo è in movimento con motore acceso, il display indicherà il dato numerico del consumo medio. In corrispondenza dell'azzeramento del "totalizzatore parziale" (TRIP) il display indicherà le linee "--.-" e aggiornerà il dato dopo 2 km percorsi. I Funzione "Autonomia residua" (fig. 12) Indica quanta strada può essere ancora percorsa dal veicolo. I Funzione retroilluminazione La retroilluminazione del cruscotto è attiva solo se la luce di posizione o i fari sono accesi. Il sistema immobilizer Per aumentare la protezione contro il furto, il motociclo è dotato di un sistema elettronico di blocco del motore (immobilizer) che si attiva automaticamente ogni volta che si spegne il quadro. I Code card Insieme alle chiavi viene consegnata una CODE CARD (fig. 16) sulla quale è riportato il codice elettronico (A, fig. 17), da utilizzare in caso di blocco motore e quindi mancata accensione dopo il key-ON. Procedura di sblocco immobilizer tramite manopola acceleratore 1) Portare la chiave su ON e ruotare completamente la manopola acceleratore mantenendola ruotata. Commutatore destro (fig. 21) I 1) Interruttore ARRESTO MOTORE, a due posizioni: - posizione (RUN) = marcia; - posizione (OFF) = arresto del motore. Registrazione posizione pedale comando cambio e freno posteriore Per assecondare le esigenze di guida di ogni pilota è possibile modificare la posizione del pedale comando cambio e freno posteriore rispetto alla relativa pedana. I Dispositivi di registro forcella anteriore La forcella del motociclo è regolabile nella fase di estensione (ritorno), nella compressione degli steli e nel precarico della molla. Avviamento motore I Attenzione Prima di avviare il motore imparare a conoscere i comandi che si devono utilizzare durante la guida (vedi pag. 10). 1) Spostare l'interruttore d'accensione sulla posizione ON (fig. 38). 2) Accertarsi che l'interruttore d'arresto (1, fig. 39) sia nella posizione (RUN), premere quindi il pulsante avviamento (2). Questo modello è provvisto di avviamento servoassistito. Arresto del motociclo Ridurre la velocità, scalare di marcia e rilasciare la manopola dell'acceleratore. Scalare fino ad inserire la prima e successivamente la folle. I Rifornimento carburante (fig. 40) Durante il rifornimento non riempire eccessivamente il serbatoio. Il livello del carburante deve rimanere al di sotto del foro d'immissione nel pozzetto del tappo. Cupolino mobile Svitare le quattro viti (1) che fissano il cupolino mobile ai supporti provvisti di guarnizione (2). Rimuovere il cupolino mobile completo di parabrezza (fig. 43). Per sostituire il parabrezza, svitare con l'apposita chiave torx le viti (3) con rosetta in nylon (4), tenendo bloccati - 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000 DS | Owners Manual - Page 60
I Cupolino fisso Svitare sui due lati del cupolino le sei viti (1) di fissaggio della plancia interna, quindi rimuoverla sfilandola verso l'alto (fig. 44). Note Fare attenzione nella rimozione della plancia a non danneggiare la vernice del cupolino. Semicarenatura sinistra Operando sul lato sinistro, dall'interno della carenatura, ruotare di ¼ di giro, in senso antiorario, lo sgancio rapido (1) per liberare la parte anteriore della semicarena sinistra (fig. 45). I Prima di procedere al rimontaggio, assicurarsi che sul lato interno della semicarena risultino correttamente installati i gommini (3) e la guarnizione (4), sul perno (5) (fig. 47). Controllo livello fluido frizione e freni Il livello non deve scendere al di sotto della tacca di MIN evidenziata sui rispettivi serbatoi (fig. 48 e fig. 48a). I Impianto frizione (fig. 48a) Se il gioco della leva di comando è eccessivo e il motociclo salta o si arresta all'inserimento della marcia, è probabile una presenza d'aria nell'impianto. Verifica usura pastiglie freno (fig. 49) Per facilitare il controllo delle pastiglie dei freni anteriori, senza doverle rimuovere dalla pinza, ogni pastiglia riporta un indicatore di consumo. I Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni della guaina esterna dei cavi di comando acceleratore. Non deve presentare schiacciamenti o screpolature nel rivestimento plastico esterno.
