I Il sistema immobilizer Per aumentare la protezione contro il furto, il motociclo è dotato di un sistema elettronico di blocco del motore (immobilizer) che si attiva automaticamente ogni volta che si spegne il quadro. Code card Insieme alle chiavi viene consegnata una CODE CARD (fig. 15) sulla quale è riportato il codice elettronico (A, fig. 16), da utilizzare in caso di blocco motore e quindi mancata accensione dopo il key-ON. I Procedura di sblocco immobilizer tramite manopola acceleratore 1) Portare la chiave su ON e ruotare completamente la manopola acceleratore mantenendola ruotata. Pedale comando freno posteriore (fig. 22) Per azionare il freno posteriore, premere il pedale (1) con il piede verso il basso. Il sistema di comando è di tipo idraulico e necessita del minimo sforzo. Regolazione specchietti retrovisori La regolazione si effettua spingendo lo specchio alle sue estremità nella direzione desiderata (fig. 32). I Cupolino mobile Svitare le quattro viti (1) che fissano il cupolino mobile ai supporti provvisti di guarnizione (2). Rimuovere il cupolino mobile completo di parabrezza (fig. 40). Per sostituire il parabrezza, svitare con l'apposita chiave torx le viti (3) con rosetta in nylon (4), tenendo - 2005 Ducati Multistrada 620 Dark | Owners Manual - Page 54
Cupolino fisso Svitare sui due lati del cupolino le sei viti (1) di fissaggio della plancia interna, quindi rimuoverla sfilandola verso l'alto (fig. 41). Note Fare attenzione nella rimozione della plancia a non danneggiare la vernice del cupolino. I Semicarenatura sinistra Operando sul lato sinistro, dall'interno della carenatura, ruotare di ¼ di giro, in senso antiorario, lo sgancio rapido (1) per liberare la parte anteriore della semicarena sinistra (fig. 42). Prima di procedere al rimontaggio, assicurarsi che sul lato interno della semicarena risultino correttamente installati i gommini (3) e la guarnizione (4), sul perno (5) (fig. 44). I Controllo livello fluido frizione e freni Il livello non deve scendere al di sotto della tacca di MIN evidenziata sui rispettivi serbatoi (fig. 45 e fig. 46). Impianto frizione (fig. 46) Se il gioco della leva di comando è eccessivo e il motociclo salta o si arresta all'inserimento della marcia, è probabile una presenza d'aria nell'impianto. I Verifica usura pastiglie freno (fig. 47) Per facilitare il controllo delle pastiglie dei freni anteriori, senza doverle rimuovere dalla pinza, ogni pastiglia riporta un indicatore di consumo. Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni della guaina esterna dei cavi di comando acceleratore. Non deve presentare schiacciamenti o screpolature nel rivestimento plastico esterno. I Regolazione corsa a vuoto comando acceleratore La manopola di comando acceleratore in tutte le posizioni di sterzata deve avere una corsa a vuoto, misurata sulla periferia del bordino della manopola, di 1,5÷2,0 mm (fig. 49). Carica della batteria (fig. 51) Per ricaricare la batteria è consigliabile rimuoverla dal motociclo. Rimuovere la semicarenatura sinistra (vedi pag. 54). Staccare nell'ordine, il terminale negativo (-) nero e quello positivo (+) rosso. I Tensionamento della catena trasmissione (fig. 52) Far girare lentamente la ruota posteriore per trovare la posizione in cui la catena risulta più tesa. Col motociclo sul cavalletto laterale, spingere la catena con un dito verso l'alto in corrispondenza della mezzeria del forcellone. Lubrificazione della catena trasmissione Questo tipo di catena è provvista di anelli o-ring per proteggere gli elementi di scorrimento dagli agenti esterni e mantenere più a lungo la lubrificazione.
