I Il sistema immobilizer Per aumentare la protezione contro il furto, il motociclo è dotato di un sistema elettronico di blocco del motore (IMMOBILIZER) che si attiva automaticamente ogni volta che si spegne il quadro. Code card Insieme alle chiavi viene consegnata una CODE CARD (fig. 8) sulla quale è riportato: il codice elettronico (A, fig. 9), da utilizzare in caso di blocco motore e quindi mancata accensione dopo il key-on. I Procedura di sblocco immobilizer tramite manopola acceleratore 1) Portare la chiave su ON e ruotare completamente la manopola acceleratore mantenendola ruotata. Leva comando starter (fig. 13.1 e fig. 13.2) Il comando starter serve per agevolare la partenza a freddo del motore e innalzare il regime di rotazione minimo, dopo l'avviamento. Commutatore destro (fig. 14.1 e fig. 14.2) I SUPERSPORT800 1) Interruttore ARRESTO MOTORE, a due posizioni: posizione (RUN) = marcia; posizione (OFF) = arresto del motore. Manopola girevole comando acceleratore (fig. 15.1 e fig. 15.2) La manopola girevole (1), sul lato destro del manubrio, comanda l'apertura delle farfalle del corpo farfallato. Pedale comando cambio (fig. 17) Il pedale comando cambio ha una posizione di riposo centrale N con ritorno automatico e due movimenti: in basso = spingere il pedale verso il basso per innestare la 1a marcia e per scalare a una marcia inferiore. Avviamento motore Note Per avviare il motore già caldo seguite la procedura descritta per "Temperatura ambiente alta". Attenzione Prima di avviare il motore imparare a conoscere i comandi che si devono utilizzare durante la guida. Frenata Rallentare per tempo, scalare per utilizzare il freno motore e poi frenare agendo su entrambi i freni. Prima che il motociclo si arresti disinserire la frizione per evitare che il motore si spenga improvvisamente. Svitare la vite (3) di fissaggio della semicarena sinistra alla piastra di supporto cavalletto laterale. Svitare la vite (4) di fissaggio della semicarena destra al perno pedale freno posteriore. I Cupolino Svitare i due dadi (1, fig. 38) di fissaggio degli specchietti retrovisori. Rimuovete gli specchietti dal cupolino. Svitare le tre viti di fissaggio (2, fig. 39) di ogni semicarena al cupolino. Sollevamento serbatoio carburante (fig. 41 e fig. 42) Rimuovere la sella (vedi pag. 30). Sganciare, tirandolo verso l'alto, il gancio elastico (1, fig. 41) anteriore, dal supporto del serbatoio. Controllo livello fluido frizione e freni Il livello non deve scendere al di sotto della tacca di MIN evidenziata sui rispettivi serbatoi (fig. da 45.1 a 47). I Impianto frizione Se il gioco della leva di comando è eccessivo e il motociclo salta o si arresta all'inserimento della marcia, indica una presenza d'aria nell'impianto. Verifica usura pastiglie freno (fig. 48) I Freno anteriore Per facilitare il controllo delle pastiglie dei freni, senza doverle rimuovere dalla pinza, ogni pastiglia riporta un indicatore di consumo. Sulla pastiglia in buone condizioni debbono essere ben visibili le scanalature praticate sul - 2006 Ducati SuperSport 1000DS | Owners Manual - Page 53
I Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni della guaina esterna del cavo di comando acceleratore e comando starter. Non devono presentare schiacciamenti o screpolature nel rivestimento plastico esterno. Verificare il funzionamento scorrevole del cavo - 2006 Ducati SuperSport 1000DS | Owners Manual - Page 54
Regolazione del cavo comando acceleratore La manopola di comando acceleratore in tutte le posizioni di sterzata deve avere una corsa a vuoto, misurata sulla periferia del bordino della manopola, di 1,5÷2 mm. I Carica della batteria (fig. 51) Per ricaricare la batteria è consigliabile rimuoverla dal motociclo. Staccare per primo, il terminale negativo (-) nero, poi quello positivo (+) rosso. Tensionamento della catena trasmissione Far girare lentamente la ruota posteriore per trovare la posizione in cui la catena risulta più tesa. Con il motociclo sul cavalletto laterale, spingere la catena con un dito verso l'alto in corrispondenza della mezzeria del forcellone. I Verificare la corrispondenza, su entrambi i lati del forcellone, delle tacche di posizionamento rispetto all'indice del cursore (4, fig. 53.1 e fig. 53.2); in questo modo sarà garantito il perfetto allineamento della ruota. Sostituzione lampadine luci Prima di procedere alla sostituzione di una lampadina fulminata accertarsi che quella di ricambio abbia i valori di tensione e potenza uguali a quelli specificati nel paragrafo "Impianto Elettrico" a pag. 75. I Rimontaggio lampada: inserire le linguette guida della base lampadina nelle sedi corrispondenti per ottenere l'esatto orientamento. Agganciare l'estremità della molletta (2) ai supporti del corpo proiettore, collegare il connettore (1) precedentemente scollegato e rimontare la cuffia in gomma. Indicatori di direzione (fig. 57) Svitare la vite (1) e separare la coppetta (2) dal supporto indicatore. La lampadina ha un innesto a baionetta, per estrarla occorre premere e ruotarla in senso antiorario. I Luce arresto Per la sostituzione della lampadina luce arresto e posizione, è necessario svitare le due viti (1, fig. 59) che fissano il trasparente e rimuoverlo. Orientamento del proiettore (fig. 61) Controllare se il proiettore è correttamente orientato mettendo il motociclo, con i pneumatici gonfiati alla giusta pressione e con una persona seduta in sella, perfettamente perpendicolare con il suo asse longitudinale di fronte ad una parete o ad uno schermo, - 2006 Ducati SuperSport 1000DS | Owners Manual - Page 63
I La rettifica dell'orientamento verticale del proiettore si può effettuare agendo sulla vite di regolazione (1, fig. 62), sul lato sinistro del proiettore. Riparazione o sostituzione pneumatici I pneumatici senza camera d'aria in presenza di forature di lieve entità, impiegano molto tempo a sgonfiarsi in quanto hanno un certo grado d'autotenuta. I Controllo livello olio motore (fig. 64) Il livello dell'olio nel motore è visibile attraverso l'oblò di ispezione (1) posto sul coperchio frizione.
